What is special about Dressed for the Circus?

By getting #dressedforthecircus, you get ready to feel the circus! What sets us apart is a unique blend of style (mix and match, aerial themed designs), functionality (made by aerialists for aerialists), and eco-friendliness (consciously not saying sustainability yet!) Check Our Story and our product descriptions for details you're going to love!

Where is Dressed for the Circus based?

We're based in Augsburg, Germany, and production including our main fabric and garment manufacturing takes place in the Porto area, Portugal.

Where do you ship? How much does shipping cost? How can I pay? How can I return my order?

We currently only ship within Europe and to selected third countries, but are working on extending our shipping options! You will see the shipping costs before check-out and payment options at the bottom of our website. For more information, please check our terms of servicerefund policy and shipping & returns section.

Is Dressed for the Circus a sustainable fashion brand?

Sustainability can be considered from various perspectives, focusing for example on the ecological, economic, or social impact of the entire supply chain and product life cycle including what happens when you throw a piece of clothing "away". At Dressed for the Circus, our main sustainability goal is to create functional, yet stylish aerialwear that you're going to love for a long time. This is why we made a huge effort to find the ideal main fabric that's 96% wood-based fibre and only 4% spandex for the necessary stretch - so the clothes move along with you as you bend and split. We also care a lot about fair working conditions for everyone along the value chain - one of the reasons why we keep production in Europe.

As a small brand just starting out, we can't say we're sustainable in good conscience yet. We prefer to call ourselves an eco-conscious brand – step by step, we're working towards a more and more sustainable economy! #slowfashion

Where can I buy Dressed for the Circus aerialwear in person? Can I try it on before I buy?

Our goal is to bring the best aerialwear to aerialists all over the world, so we're fully focused on our online shop. We are, however, open to collaborating with aerial studios and have run small pop up events in the area where we're based. If you're a studio owner and would like to talk to us, feel free to drop us an email at hello@dressedforthecircus.com
